CLARIFICATION REGARDING SCORING PATTERN: XIII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2018

The qualification of teams for Semi-Finals done on the basis of Round Points and speaker rank was formulated on basis of their speaker score. For example: If team A got 170 out of 200 and the opponent team B got 160 out of 200 then the difference is less than 7% then the team which got  higher score will get 2 round points and the other team will get 1 round point only. On the other hand, if there are team C and D and team C gets 115 out of 200 and other team D gets 100 out of 200 then the difference is more than 7% hence team C will get 3 points and D will get 0 point. Now in the present scenario, the qualifying team is C but if we take their rank(which is not calculated on round point basis) will get 3rd rank out of 4 teams. Participants kindly adhere to these rules these are made keeping in mind the strict and lenient marking criteria of different judges. Note: No other query regarding scoring pattern shall be entertained.
