Dear Students,                             We are looking forward to conducting the challengers in order to select the team which could represent School of Law, UPES at Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition conducted by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL). Challengers shall be conducted on August 20, 2018 and the venue shall be informed through e-mail to the participants before the date of challengers. It is a matter of great pride for Moot Court Association (MCA) of UPES School of Law that our  moot team has been declared as the WINNER of Judgment Writing Competition of 16th Surana & Surana National Corporate Law Moot Court Competition conducted by JSS Law College, Mysuru held between 9th to 11th February 2018. Moot Court Association (MCA) is pleased to announce the initiation of the XIII UPES Internal Moot Court Competition, 2018. It may be noted that  it is compulsory to participate  in the Internal Moot Court Competition to be eligible to participate in External Moot Court Competitions. No further challengers will be conducted for allotment of any moot till the next Internal Moot Court Competition, barring exceptional circumstances, to be decided at the discretion of MCA. To understand the allotment process for external moots kindly refer to allotment rules for 2018-19. The Competition is open for all the students of Second year to Final Year of  B.A., LL.B. (Hons.),  B.B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com., LL.B.(Hons.) and B.Tech., LL.B.(Hons.)  from UPES School of Law. This year Internal Moot Court Competition will be conducted into two parts -  National Pool (team of 3) and International Pool (Individual participants) . 1ST JUSTICE Y.K. SABHARWAL CONSTITUTIONAL LAW MOOT COMPETITION Dear Students, NLUD is organising 1st Justice Y.K. Sabharwal Constitutional Law Moot Competition , it will have two moot problems based on constitutional law. The competition is from 5th – 7th October 2018. In order to apply for this moot, interested students are requested to send their application at secretarymca1819@gmail.com  with a copy marked to mca.upes@gmail.com  latest by June 5, 2018. The mail should include the aggregate of intra rank of all three team partners, along with their respective CGPA. Procedure for allotment: The applicants are expected to prepare a write up on the first moot problem, within 7 days of its release (which is expected to be in 2 nd we ek of June) and mail it to the aforementioned mail ids.
