INVITING APPLICATIONS | MOOT COURT COMMITTEE | 2025-26

 


Dear Students,

 

We are thrilled to announce the opening of applications for the Student Core Body of the Moot Court Committee, UPES for the upcoming tenure 2025–26!

 

This is a call for committed and passionate individuals who wish to contribute to the mooting culture of our institution and take on leadership roles in organizing and managing mooting activities at the School of Law.

 

IMPORTANT GUIDELINE

Once selected in the Core Committee, no applicant will be allowed to hold a position in any other committee for the tenure 2025–26.

 

FOURTH YEAR CORE

(For current 3rd-year students)

1. Student Convenor

2. Principal Secretary

3. Student Treasurer

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must currently be in the 3rd year of the program.
  • Must have been a member of any committee for at least 2 years.
  • Must have participated in at least 2 National/International Moot Court or Trial Advocacy Competitions.
  • Must have a CGPA of 7 or above.
  • Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceedings.


THIRD YEAR CORE

(For current 2nd-year students)

1. Student Co-Convenor

2. Student Secretary

3. Student Joint Treasurer

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must currently be in the 2nd year of the program.
  • Must have been a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
  • Must have participated in at least 1 National/International Moot Court or Trial Advocacy Competition.
  • Must have a CGPA of 7 or above.
  • Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceedings.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | 24th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition

Dear Students! Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!!! Wait is now over! We are inviting applications for 24th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) . The Moot Court’s primary objective has been to continue developing an increased awareness and interest in IHL in academic institutions in India. Additionally, it aims to use IHL to further academic excellence among the student community and to develop their advocacy skills in an environment of friendly competition. Pre-Allotment of Moot Court Competitions | XIX Internal Moot Court Competition 2024

  Greetings from the Moot Court Committee, School of Law, UPES! We are pleased to inform all participants of the XIX Internal Moot Court Competition 2024 that the list of moots allotted to the Top 100 Speakers and Top 50 Researchers has been released, based on the preferences submitted in the Moot Preference Form. We request all participants to review the list and begin preparing for their allotted external competitions. PRE-ALLOTMENT LIST Note: Please keep track of the release dates for your assigned competitions. If you wish to withdraw from any competition, kindly inform the Moot Court Committee at least one month prior to the scheduled competition date by emailing the official Moot Court ID at mootcourt@ddn.upes.ac.in. For teams or participants who did not submit their preference forms, allotments will be based on moot blawg posts.
