Extended Deadline for Applications I Sub-Committee Heads

Dear Students,

Greetings from the Moot Court Committee, School of Law, UPES!

We are pleased to announce that the deadline to apply for the Head Positions of the Sub-Committees under the Moot Court Committee (2025-2026) has been extended.


Ø  ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (Student Head):

  • Must be a student of the 4th Year (2025-26 session)
  • Minimum CGPA of 7.0
  • Must have been a member of any committee for at least 1 year
  • Must have participated in at least 2 National/International Moot Court Competitions
  • Must possess a good academic record
  • Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceedings

 

Ø  HEAD POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING SUB-COMMITTEES:

  1. Court Bailiff - Officers of the Court during MCC-organized competitions.
  2. Documentation - Handles all official paperwork and correspondence.
  3. Infrastructure - Ensures seamless infrastructure arrangements.
  4. Hospitality - Manages food and guest reception during events.
  5. Media & Design - Designs posters and banners throughout the tenure.
  6. Photography - Captures all events; candidates with their own camera will be preferred.
  7. PR & Outreach - Handles event awareness, captions, and public engagement.
  8. Research - Serves as the think tank for competitions and academic tasks.
  9. Scoring - Tabulates scores and ensures accurate result compilation.

We strongly encourage all eligible students who are passionate about contributing to the mooting culture of UPES to apply for these leadership roles.

It serves as a portal through which students can fully immerse themselves in the environment of ethical considerations and protocols of a real courtroom. Dear Students! Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!!! Wait is now over! We are inviting applications for 24th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) . The Moot Court’s primary objective has been to continue developing an increased awareness and interest in IHL in academic institutions in India. Additionally, it aims to use IHL to further academic excellence among the student community and to develop their advocacy skills in an environment of friendly competition.
