(mail to: mca.upes@gmail.com)

We are looking forward to send a team to represent CoLS, UPES at the Third Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC Mooting Competition 2017-18 (India Rounds) which will be held from 27th to 29th October, 2017, at Greater Noida.

The details of the competition can be accessed at http://saarcmooting.lloydlawcollege.edu.in/

Five Best Teams from India Rounds will qualify to represent India in the SAARC Rounds of Third Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon SAARC Mooting Competition, 2017-18 which will be held from 16th to 19th February, 2018.

In light of the same, we invite applications from a 3-member team comprising 2 Speakers and 1 Researcher, all of who must have participated in the XIIth Intra Moot Court Competition, and secured a 'rank'.

Owing to the sudden and imperative nature of the call, this competition is open to participants in the International Pool as well as to participants in the National Pool, with preference to be given to international pool participants. There will be no cross-teaming however, i.e. international pool participant/s with national pool participant/s.

Please send in an email to mca.upes@gmail.com, with the body of the email as:- Application for allotment of the 'name of the moot court competition'
It is important that you most positively mention the correct and complete name of the competition.

Allotment would be made on the sole basis of average team rank.

Average team rank means the average of the summation of the ranks secured by the Speakers and the Researcher.

In case of applications received from more than one team, then the team with the lowest rank would be allotted the moot. Eg. If we receive applications from a team with an average rank of 5 and from another with an average rank of 3.67, then the team ranked 3.67 would stand to be allotted the moot. In the rare case of a tie in average rank, the Faculty Convenors would have the final say in the matter.

The selected team would be required to send in a duly filled Registration Form (Soft Copy) along with a payment of INR 3,500/- on or before 15th Sept. 2017, at the host university.

The last date for sending applications for allotment of the aforementioned moot is 11:59 p.m., 13th September, 2017. Applications received after the deadline shall be rejected outright.

All the Best!
