INTRA TRIAL ADVOCACY COMPETITION
18th to 19th November, 2017

Dear All,
Mooting is a unique filed that tests your knowledge and dares you to think on your feet. The research team at the Moot Court Association (MCA) is always looking for fresh challenges, and novel avenues for research. The MCA at the School of Law is very pleased to announce the initiation of the procedure for the UPES Intra Trial Advocacy Competition, 2017.

 It may be noted that it is compulsory to participate in the Intra Trial Advocacy Competition to be eligible to participate in any external Trial Advocacy Competitions. No further challengers will be conducted for allotment of any Trial until the next Intra Trial Advocacy Competition, barring exceptional circumstances, to be decided at the sole discretion of the MCA.

The rounds for this edition have been scheduled from 18th to 19th November, 2017. Block your dates! We urge you to participate in this very niche field of debating and advocacy.

SCHEDULE:
  • 21st October 2017:  Registrations open
  • 5th November 2017: Last date for registration through the web link 
  • 13th November 2017: Last date for receipt of Memorials
  • 17th November 2017: Exchange of Memorials at 03:00 p.m. (venue to be informed later)
  • 18th - 19th November 2017: Oral rounds and the Researcher’s test (all rounds will take place at the School of Law building, Kandoli campus)


For further details about the competition, kindly refer to the rules for the registration process.

Please note that the MCA reserves the right to alter the rules of the competition, in case the same are warranted by circumstances. Any such alteration will be put up on the notice board at a reasonable time prior to the competition.

SPEAKERS & RESEARCHERS RANKS | XVIII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023.

Dear Participants, Greetings from the Moot Court Association!! The wait is finally over, we are delighted to announce the ranks of  XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 . External Moot Court Competitions shall be allotted only through Internal Ranks/ Challenger Round abiding with the rules mentioned in Allotment and Mentorship Rules 2024. No allotments shall be made based on Average CGPA.  These ranks will be effective from XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 till XIX Internal Moot Court Competitions, 2024.  NOTE: 1.      The detailed committee preference leaflet will be released soon. 2.      The Moot Court Association is releasing the ranks of Top 100 Speakers and Top 50 Researchers; hence the remaining applicants are requested to fill the form only with their names.
