NOTICE FOR INTERVIEW_MCA 2018-19


Dear All,

Subsequent to the successful culmination of the 8th Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial International ‘Energy Law’, the student body of the Moot Court Association for the year 2017-18, stands dissolved.

Firstly, we would like to congratulate the former members for being so dedicated and committed towards the furtherance of the interests of MCA. Behind every strong committee, there is a concrete student human resource, and we are privileged to have worked with few of the best in the business.  

In furtherance of creating the student body for the upcoming year, 2018-19, we solicit applications from the students for the core portfolios of:-

(1)              Student Convenor:
i. Shall be currently from the 3rd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 2 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

(2)              Student Secretary
i. Shall be currently from the 3rd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 2 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

(3)              Student Treasurer
i. Shall be currently from the 3rd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 2 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.
  
(4)              Student Co-Convenor
i. Shall be currently from the 2nd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 1 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition.
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

(5)              Student Joint Secretary
i. Shall be currently from the 2nd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 1 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition.
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

(6)              Student Joint Treasurer
i. Shall be currently from the 2nd year.
ii. Shall be a member of any committee for at least 1 year.
iii. Must have participated in at least 1 National/International Moot Court Competition / Client Counseling / Trial Advocacy / Mediation Competition.
iv. Must have a CGPA not less than 2.67 or 8.
v. Must have good academic record.
vi. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.



All interested students are requested to email their updated CV, to biswamukh02@gmail.com, marking a copy to ashish.jain@ddn.upes.ac.in, subject of the email being “Application for core portfolio at MCA, 2018-19”, and in the body of the email mentioning your name, the portfolio you are interested in, whether you have served in any capacity in the MCA before, and why you feel you should be considered for the portfolio applied for. Kindly respond to each of the aforesaid requirements in separate paragraphs.   

Please apply latest by 11:11 p.m. of 19th April, 2018.

The interviews would commence on 20th April, 2018, the venue being intimated to the applicants eventually.
