10th UPES – DR. PARAS DIWAN MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL ENERGY LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2020

Warm greetings from the Moot Court Association of School of Law, UPES, Dehradun!

It gives us immense pleasure to invite your esteemed institution to the 10th edition of the UPES – DR. PARAS DIWAN MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL ENERGY LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2020. The moot is scheduled to take place from 3rd – 5th, April 2020.

UPES has constantly worked hard towards educating with purpose and creating skilled professionals to drive the country. The School of Law, under the aegis of UPES, is a unique, domain-specific institution with specialization in courses like Energy Law, Corporate Law, Taxation Law, Cyber Law, Criminal law, Labour law, and IPR, among others.
In its tenth year now, the Competition assures a challenging moot problem, a high level of competitiveness among participants and an illustrious panel of acclaimed judges. This year also, we have SCC Online and EBC associating themselves with the Competition as Knowledge Partners.

Please find attached the Official Invitation, Official Rules, Proposition, Registration Form and Schedule for the Competition. Please go through the Official Rules especially carefully, since certain rules have been modified.

Dear students,  The most crucial part of any kind of event is its workforce, and we invite applications from the students, from Year 2 - Year 4 from the School of Law, for a variety of internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2024-2025.
