INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR VARIOUS PORTFOLIOS OF MOOT COURT ASSOCIATION: 2021-22

 Dear All,

Every committee is made successful by its human resource, and we invite applications from students from the 2nd to 4th year, from all batches of LAW, for various internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2021-22.

Portfolios and qualifications for such posts are as under:

 

Position

General Qualification

Research Committee Head

·         Must be Currently from 4th Year

·         Minimum CGPA 7

·         Should have participated in at least 2 national/international Moot Court Competition/Trial Advocacy

·         Must have a good academic record

·         Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·         Should possess excellent research skills and a keen interest to work on different areas of law

Research Committee Sub-Head

·         Must be Currently from 3rd Year

·         Minimum CGPA 7

·         Should have participated in at least 1 national/international Moot Court Competition/Trial Advocacy

·         Must have a good academic record

·         Should possess excellent research skills and a keen interest to work on different areas of law

·         Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

Research Committee Member

·         Must be Currently from 2nd Year

·         Minimum CGPA 7

·         Should have participated in Novice Moot Court Competition

·         Must have a good academic record

·         Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·         Should possess good research skills and keenness to learn.

Scoring Committee Head

·         Must be Currently from 4th Year

·         Minimum CGPA 7

·         Should have participated in at least 2 national/international Moot Court Competition/Trial Advocacy

·         Must have a good academic record

·         Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·         Must have decent ability to handle mathematical calculations

·         Must be able to efficiently use MS Office

·         Must be Currently from 3rd Year

·         Should have participated in at least 1 national/international Moot Court Competition/Trial Advocacy

·         Minimum CGPA 7

·         Must have a good academic record

·         Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·         Must have good video editing or designing skills and basic photo

·      Should be able to use various designing software’s.

Media & Design Committee Member

We aim to select a committed batch of people who would be ready to devote their time and attention specifically to the MCA.

The membership to any portfolio shall be performance-based. Anyone not performing after due reminders may be removed from that portfolio in the larger interest of MCA and someone more competent may be put instead.

All interested students are requested to e-mail their updated CV to secretarymca1819@gmail.com, marking a copy to a.pandey@ddn.upes.ac.in subject of the e-mail being “Application for Head/ Sub-head /Member at MCA, 2021-22”.

Kindly mention the following in the body of the email:
1. Name of the Applicant ;
2. Whether you have served in any capacity in the MCA before;
3. Why you feel you should be considered for the portfolio applied for.
Kindly respond to each of the aforesaid requirements in separate paragraphs.

SPEAKERS & RESEARCHERS RANKS | XVIII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023.

Dear Participants, Greetings from the Moot Court Association!! The wait is finally over, we are delighted to announce the ranks of  XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 . External Moot Court Competitions shall be allotted only through Internal Ranks/ Challenger Round abiding with the rules mentioned in Allotment and Mentorship Rules 2024. No allotments shall be made based on Average CGPA.  These ranks will be effective from XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 till XIX Internal Moot Court Competitions, 2024.  NOTE: 1.      The detailed committee preference leaflet will be released soon. 2.      The Moot Court Association is releasing the ranks of Top 100 Speakers and Top 50 Researchers; hence the remaining applicants are requested to fill the form only with their names.
