MOOT ALLOTMENT FORM: XVII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022.

 Dear Students,

Greeting from Moot Court Association!


As per the Allotment Rules 2022- 2023, it is compulsory to participate in the XVII Internal Moot Court Competition 2022, held by MCA to be eligible to participate in external Moot Court Competitions. Any student who has not participated in Internal Moot Court Competition held in that respective year shall have no claim of any nature with MCA with respect to allotments.

For the purpose of allotment the Moot Court Association has released the Moot Preference Form. It is mandatory for all the teams to fill out this form.

 MOOT PREFERENCE FORM 


Please note the following major rules related to allotment:-

  1. It is mandatory for every participating team to fill the external participation registration form, failing which, their participation can be canceled.
  2. No Student is allowed to register themselves for any external competition without prior approval of MCA. Any action in contradiction of this clause attracts five years ban from MCA.
  3. The teams participating in Tier 1 moots and International Moots shall be allotted mentors mandatorily. The teams shall be responsible to report to the mentor/coach on a periodical basis for the preparation of the moot. MCA will regularly take reviews from the mentor/coach about the performance of the team.
  4. For the allotment year 2022-23, only the Teams whose average team rank is less than or equal to 20 shall be allowed to participate in Tier 1 Moots.
  5. Challenger Round shall be conducted if the team formation of competing teams are closely ranked as per the ranks of the Intra Moot Court Competition held for the respective year.
  6. All teams/participants backing out of a competition post allotment will be barred from participating in any competition for a year. In case of a valid justification is provided by any of the team members, the penalty period may be reduced to six months.
  7. Any Member flouting any of the rules for which a separate penalty has not been provided will be barred from participating in any competition for a suitable period, which may extend to the whole duration of his course.
  8. Teams are allowed to give only preferences for National Moot in the form.
  9. Teams are expected to thoroughly read the Allotment Rules 2022-23. Any subsequent issues due to negligence on the part of the team shall not be entertained.

NOTE: IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL TEAMS TO FILL THIS FORM. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DISENTITLE THE TEAMS FROM CLAIMING ALLOTMENT THROUGH THE MOOT BLOG.
