13th UPES – Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial International Energy Law Moot Court competition, 2023

Greetings from the Moot Court Association of UPES, School of Law!!

With immense pride and gratification, we invite your esteemed institution to the 13th UPES – Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial International Energy Law Moot Court competition, 2023.

UPES hosts its annual Energy Law Moot, UPES- Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial International Energy Law Moot court competition, in collaboration with the Paras Diwan Foundation. The Competition has been conceived with the aim of creating opportunities and a platform for discussion of developing jurisprudence on emerging trends in Energy Law besides developing cutting-edge skills in research, writing, and advocacy. 

In keeping with tradition, the , 13th UPES- Dr. Paras Diwan Memorial International Energy Law Moot court competition is scheduled to be held from February 10th-13th, 2023  in an hybrid format. Due to the imposition of pandemic measures in many countries, international teams have the option to participate in an online format. But it is mandatory for all national teams to participate in physical mode. 

This year's moot proposition has been drafted by Dr. Mayank Mishra, Assistant Professor at School of Law, UPES and a legal academician with proven experience in litigation, with not just deep theoretical understanding of subjects but also well versed with the practical implementation of laws.  He has thorough knowledge about the field of energy laws and the more niche areas you'd only expect an expert to know.

We are pleased to invite a team from your esteemed institution to participate in the 13th edition of the moot court competition, which aims to further research on the emerging issues related to Energy Lawand amplify the participants' interest in the same.

Dear students,  The most crucial part of any kind of event is its workforce, and we invite applications from the students, from Year 2 - Year 4 from the School of Law, for a variety of internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2024-2025.
