REGISTRATION | XIII Novice Moot Court Competition, 2026

Greetings from the Moot Court Committee, School of Law, UPES!

The Moot Court Committee is delighted to formally announce the XIII Edition of the Novice Moot Court Competition, 2026, a flagship academic event designed exclusively to nurture and showcase emerging legal talent. The competition is scheduled to be held from 24th February to 28th February, 2026, and promises an intellectually stimulating and professionally enriching experience for all participating teams.

The Novice Moot Court Competition has, over the years, established itself as a distinguished platform for law students taking their first steps into the world of mooting. Curated specifically for novice mooters, the competition emphasizes learning, structured advocacy, and analytical clarity while maintaining the rigor and discipline of formal court proceedings.

Participants will engage with complex and contemporary legal issues, encouraging them to develop a strong foundation in legal research, memorial drafting, and oral advocacy. The competition aims not only to test legal acumen but also to foster confidence, courtroom etiquette, and the critical thinking skills indispensable to a successful legal career.

Important Dates

  • Competition Dates: 24th February - 28th February, 2026

  • Last Date for Registration: 21st January, 2026 11:59 PM IST

The registration process is now live, and interested teams are encouraged to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute inconveniences.

To assist participants in their preparation, the Case Record and the Rulebook have been released. These documents provide detailed insights into the factual matrix, legal issues involved, procedural requirements, and competition rules, ensuring clarity and uniformity throughout the event.

Participants are advised to carefully review these documents, as strict adherence to the rules will be maintained during all stages of the competition.

As the countdown to Novice 2026 begins, the Moot Court Committee looks forward to welcoming enthusiastic participants from across the country to the School of Law, UPES.

Dear Students! Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!!! Wait is now over! We are inviting applications for 24th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) . The Moot Court’s primary objective has been to continue developing an increased awareness and interest in IHL in academic institutions in India. Additionally, it aims to use IHL to further academic excellence among the student community and to develop their advocacy skills in an environment of friendly competition. CALL FOR APPLICATION | 22nd K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court, 2026

Greetings from the Moot Court Committee!!! Registrations are invited for the 22 nd  K.K. Luthra Memorial Moot Court, 2026, organized by the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi. Apply at:  MOOT ALLOTMENT FORM    by May 20, 2025.
