Trial Advocacy is a unique and interesting area of expertise, and the Trial Advocacy department, in association with the Moot Court Association of CoLS, is very pleased to announce that we are hereby accepting applications to be a member of the Research Committee for Trial Advocacy.
All interested individuals are hereby requested to please adhere to the following requirements in order to be considered eligible for consideration:
- Any student currently studying law at CoLS, UPES, is eligible to attempt to be a part of the Research Committee.
- Interested applicants are required to draft a mock moot problem, within the range of 1 to 3 pages, on a theme that is new or unique to trial advocacy. Basically we want you to engage the thinker in you and help it find its legal acumen.
- There is no requirement to draft annexures or ancillary attachments. Only a properly drafted trial advocacy moot problem would suffice.
- Please send in an updated version of your résumé along with the moot problem drafted by you.
- The last date to submit your résumé, as well as the moot problem is 4th September, 2017, at 11:15 P.M. (IST),at upes.trialadvocacy@gmail.com, with the subject of the submission as 'Application for being a member of the research committee'. Do not forget to mention your name and course details in the body of the email.
- Submit both the documents as attachments to the same email, and not as separate emails.
- Both the documents must be in the form of .doc or .docx file and NOT a .PDF file.
- There will be no consideration on our part in case of any digression from the rules on your part.
