CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR MOOT

1ST JUSTICE Y.K. SABHARWAL CONSTITUTIONAL LAW MOOT COMPETITION

Dear Students,

NLUD is organising 1st Justice Y.K. Sabharwal Constitutional Law Moot Competition, it will have two moot problems based on constitutional law. The competition is from 5th – 7th October 2018.

In order to apply for this moot, interested students are requested to send their application at secretarymca1819@gmail.com with a copy marked to mca.upes@gmail.com latest by June 5, 2018.
The mail should include the aggregate of intra rank of all three team partners, along with their respective CGPA.

Procedure for allotment: The applicants are expected to prepare a write up on the first moot problem, within 7 days of its release (which is expected to be in 2nd week of June) and mail it to the aforementioned mail ids. The date for the submission will also be intimated to you from our end and it would have no extension, whatsoever the reason maybe.

Further, a date and time would be provided to all applicants along with the number of the concerned faculty who will be asking you questions related to the moot problem and the write up that you submitted. The students will be expected to call on time and wait for their turn if the faculty is on other call. Again, no request for extension or change of slot would be entertained.

The moot will be allotted to the applicant who would be thorough with the moot problem and answer questions related to the issues in it.


Note- In case two or more teams perform equally well and answer all the questions, i.e. there is tie between them, the moot would be allotted on the basis of their performance in XII Intra Moot Court Competition, 2017.

Dear students,  The most crucial part of any kind of event is its workforce, and we invite applications from the students, from Year 2 - Year 4 from the School of Law, for a variety of internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2024-2025.
