NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR COMMITTEE: VIII NOVICE MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2021

 

Dear All,


In furtherance of creating the student body for the upcoming VIII Novice Moot Court Competition, 2021, we solicit applications from the students for the portfolios of:-

       1.  Student Coordinator:

·       Shall be currently from the 2nd year.

·       Must have volunteered in any National/International event in 1st year under MCA or any other committee

·       Must have participated in XV Internal Moot Court Competition, 2020 or have been allotted by the Allotment List, 2020-21 at least One National/International Moot Court Competition.

·       Must have a CGPA not less than 7.

·       Must have a good academic record.

·       Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·       Must have sound command over MS-Office.

·       Must have good communication and organizational skills.

       2. Student Secretary:

·       Shall be currently from the 2nd year.

·       Must have volunteered in any National/International event in 1st year under MCA or any other committee

·       Must have participated in XV Internal Moot Court Competition, 2020 or have been allotted by the Allotment List, 2020-21 at least One National/International Moot Court Competition.

·       Must have a CGPA not less than 7.

·       Must have a good academic record.

·       Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·       Must have sound command over MS-Office.

·       Must have good communication and organizational skills.



All interested students are requested to email their updated CV, to mca.upes@gmail.com, marking a copy to a.pandey@ddn.upes.ac.in,  v.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in and j.chakraborty@ddn.upes.ac.in  subject of the email being “Application for portfolio at MCA, 2020-21”. Kindly mention the following in the body of the email:

      1.  Name of the applicant

       2. The portfolio you are interested in

      3. Whether you have served in any capacity in the MCA before

       4. Why you feel you should be considered for the portfolio applied for.

 

Kindly respond to each of the aforesaid requirements in separate paragraphs.

Please apply latest by 11:00 p.m. on 12.02.2021 (Friday). We will inform the date and timings of the interview soon, which shall be conducted virtually.

Note : The particular committee formed after the interview round will be only for the purpose of NOVICE 2021 Event.
The members from 2nd year who are a part of Current committee of Moot Court Association , if wish to be a part of the novice 2021 team, are requested to submit their CV as well.
