Memorial Screening Guidelines - XVII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2022.

Greetings from the Moot Court Association!!

The Moot Court Association is exhilarated to see the overwhelming response for the XVII Internal Moot Court Competition 2022-23.

 When it comes to Moot Court Competitions, a  popular tendency is to highlight how mooting is all about developing the right oral skills which are quintessential for real world oral advocacy. But an integral - yet overlooked - aspect of mooting is research and drafting. 

Hence, in order to emphasize on the Research & drafting skills of the participants, the moot court Association of UPES is ecstatic to introduce the MEMORIAL SCREENING ROUND.

Note :It is mandatory for every team to submit their memorials from both Petitioner and Respondent's sides through the link provided below in order to be selected for further rounds. 

Memorials which are deemed to be finest, and in accordance with the Memorial screening Guidelines set by Moot Court Association, shall be eligible to qualify for the further oral rounds.

Each team is required to read the memorial screening guidelines carefully to meet the requirements for the selection of their memorials. The memorial screening guidelines encompasses memorial submission link, the format for the same and the marking scheme in detail.

Timeline: All teams are required to submit soft copies of their memorials for Memorial Screening before August 15, 2022 (11:59 P.M. IST).
