Greetings from the Moot Court Association of UPES, School of Law!!

With immense pride and gratification, we invite your esteemed institution to the V Surana and Surana and UPES School of Law, National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition, 2022.

UPES hosts its annual Insolvency Law Moot, Surana and Surana and UPES School of Law, National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition, in collaboration with the Surana and Surana International Attorneys. The Competition has been conceived with the aim of creating opportunities and a platform for discussion of developing jurisprudence on emerging trends in Insolvency Law besides developing cutting-edge skills in research, writing, and advocacy.  

In keeping with tradition, the  V Surana and Surana and UPES School of Law, National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition, 2022 is scheduled to be held from 14th - 16th October 2022  in an online format. This year's moot proposition has been drafted by Kumar Saurabh Singh (Partner), Ashwij Ramaiah (Senior Associate), and Rohitesh Tak (Associate) at Khaitan & Co, Mumbai.

We are pleased to invite a team from your esteemed institution to participate in the 5th edition of the moot court competition, which aims to further research on the emerging issues related to Insolvency Law and amplify the participants' interest in the same.

Kindly complete all the registration formalities stated in the Official Rules of the moot on or before 20th September 2022 (11:59 P.M. IST). Any clarification(s) to the moot problem shall be sought by sending mail to  mootcourt@ddn.upes.ac.in on or before 20th September 2022.

Dear students,  The most crucial part of any kind of event is its workforce, and we invite applications from the students, from Year 2 - Year 4 from the School of Law, for a variety of internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2024-2025.
