CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SUB COMMITTEES 2024-2025
Dear students,
The most crucial part of any kind of event is its workforce, and we invite applications from the students, from Year 2 - Year 4 from the School of Law, for a variety of internal portfolios in the Moot Court Association, for the academic year 2024-2025.
Portfolios and qualifications for such posts are as follows:
● Student Head
1. Should be currently in 3rd year.
2. Minimum CGPA 7.0.
3. Member of any committee for at least 1 year.
4. Participation in at least 2 National/International Moot Court Competition.
5. Must have a good academic record.
6. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceedings.
● Student Sub-Head
1. Should be currently in 2nd year.
2. Minimum CGPA. 7.0.
3. Member of any committee for at least 1 year.
4. Participation in at least 1 National/International Moot Court Competition.
5. Must have a good academic record.
6. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.
● Student Member
1. Should be currently in 1st year.
2. Minimum CGPA. 7.0.
3. Must have a good academic record.
4. Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.
We are accepting applications for the above-mentioned 3 positions to any of the following Committees which function under the aegis of the MCA.
1. Court Bailiff - Court Bailiffs function as Officers of the Court in various competitions organized by the MCA.
2. Documentation - All the paperwork and correspondence are handled by this committee.
3. Infrastructure: This department ensures that all infrastructure arrangements are pitch-perfect.
4. Hospitality: It will also ensure that we are at our hospitable best and are impeccable hosts to all our guests by simultaneously arranging food.
5. Media and Design: The media team is responsible for making the posters, and banners for our events throughout the tenure.
6. Photography: This team covers all the events and is the people behind the camera, capturing the many moods and moments of the competitions.
Note- The candidates with a camera will be given preference for the same.
7. PR & Outreach: The people who ensure maximum participation and create awareness about the events. PR & Outreach committee prepares detailed captions about the event and helps establish connections.
8. Research: A solid research committee is the think tank behind the various competitions and other research work.
9. Scoring: The people behind the numbers and the tabulation, the Scoring committee tabulates the scores, and ensures the successful completion of any event.
Every department, however, shall have a Student Head, and a Student Sub-head, who would, along with the members, look into the affairs of their department, and any other department if deemed necessary.
The selection procedure for membership to the committee would be based on preliminary interviews. The aim is to make a committee consisting of people who would be devoted and would be giving their full time to MCA. In the larger interest of MCA, anyone failing to deliver the requisites needed for the designated portfolio will be treated accordingly.
