Greetings from the Moot Court Committee, School of Law, UPES!
We would like to express our appreciation for your enthusiastic participation in the XIX Internal Moot Court Competition, 2024. As we prepare for the upcoming National and International Moot Court Competitions, we encourage you to carry that same enthusiasm forward.
To facilitate a smooth and fair allotment process, we kindly request that you complete the Moot Preference Form.
Please note that this form is specifically for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Moot Court Competitions as per Annexure A of Allotment & Mentorship Rules 2024-2025.
Important Pre-requisites:
1. Review Allotment and Mentorship Rules 2024: Please read these rules carefully before submitting your form.

2. Correct Rank Submission: Ensure that you provide your accurate ranks, as these will be verified prior to allotment.

Note:
Formula to calculate Speaker Rank: 60% Preliminary Marks+10% Octa-Final+10% Quater-Final+ 10% Semi-Final+ 10% Final
Formula to calculate Researcher Rank: 80% Researcher Marks + 20% Memorial Marks

3. Formula to calculate Average Rank: Rank of Speaker 1 + Rank of Speaker 2 + Rank of Researcher/3
4. In case you wish to participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 that is neither in the list nor provided on the blawg you are free to put the same as your preferences.
Moot Allotment Procedure:
Tier 1: Participants, who took part in the XIX Internal Moot Court Competition, 2024, with a Speaker rank of 40 or below, or a Researcher rank of 15 or below, will be eligible for Tier 1 moots based on the preferences submitted in this form.
Tier 2: Participants with a Speaker rank of 100 or below, or a Researcher rank of 50 or below, will be eligible for Tier 2 moots, following the same procedure.
Tier 3: For moots categorized as Tier 3, teams consisting of participants with a Speaker rank above 100 or a Researcher rank above 50 may apply. Details for these moots will be available on the MCC Mooting Blawg.
We appreciate your cooperation in completing the Moot Preference Form by 4th October 2024. Your engagement is crucial to our success in these prestigious competitions.
For your reference we are attaching the list of all individuals who participated in the XIX Internal Moot Court Competition, 2024 along with the team codes and contact details.
