AMENDMENT: ALLOTMENT RULE: 2019 -2020

Dear Students,

 This is to notify that there has been an amendment made in Rule no. 4.4 of the  Moot Court Association (Participation and Allotment in Moot Court Competition) Rules, 2019

 The change made is as follows:

 4.4 Allotment of moots to the members of the core organizing team of Internal Moot Court Competition: 

 While the member of the core organizing team* of Internal Moot Court Competition may not participate in the said competition in same manner as other students, in order to ensure a fair chance to those of such members who are interested in opting for external Competitions, the MCA will allot as per the average ranks of other teammates.

 E.g. A, B and C want to get the moot allotted. C is also in the part of the core organizing committee. Hence, is barred from participating in the Intra Moot, then the average team rank will be calculated on the basis of ranks of A and B.
  • Team composition of the core committee team may comprise of either one single member or two member from the core committee of MCA or can be a team comprising of all three members from core committee of MCA.
    However, in any case/conflict core committee team, shall be given the preference.

 Note:
  1. A team comprising of two members from the core committee can take third member as an intra rank holder or any individual who has participated in at least two national/ international moot court competition.
    Similarly, a team comprising of one member from the core committee, can have the other two teammates as either intra rank holders or individuals who have participated in at least two national/ international moot court competition.
  2. The approval of the other team members if they are non intra rank holder shall be taken from the Faculty Convener. 
  3. However, in any of the case, the team will be considered as core committee team and shall be given preference.

SPEAKERS & RESEARCHERS RANKS | XVIII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023.

Dear Participants, Greetings from the Moot Court Association!! The wait is finally over, we are delighted to announce the ranks of  XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 . External Moot Court Competitions shall be allotted only through Internal Ranks/ Challenger Round abiding with the rules mentioned in Allotment and Mentorship Rules 2024. No allotments shall be made based on Average CGPA.  These ranks will be effective from XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 till XIX Internal Moot Court Competitions, 2024.  NOTE: 1.      The detailed committee preference leaflet will be released soon. 2.      The Moot Court Association is releasing the ranks of Top 100 Speakers and Top 50 Researchers; hence the remaining applicants are requested to fill the form only with their names.
