NOTICE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR COMMITTEE: IX NOVICE MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022

 

Dear All,

In furtherance of creating the student body for the upcoming IX Novice Moot Court Competition, 2022, we solicit applications from the students for the portfolios of:-

1.Student Coordinator

·       Shall be currently from the 2nd year.

·       Must have volunteered in any National/International event in 1st year under MCA or any other committee.

·      Must have participated in VIII Novice Moot Court Competition ,2021 and XVI Internal Moot Court Competition, 2021 or have been allotted by the Allotment List, 2021-22 at least one National/International Moot Court Competition.

·       Must have a CGPA not less than 7.

·       Must have a good academic record.

·       Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·       Must have a sound command over MS-Office.

·       Must have good communication and organizational skills.

2.    Student Jt. Coordinator

·       Shall be currently from the 2nd year.

·       Must have volunteered in any National/International event in 1st year under MCA or any other committee.

·      Must have participated in VIII Novice Moot Court Competition ,2021 and XVI Internal Moot Court Competition, 2021 or have been allotted by the Allotment List, 2021-22 at least one National/International Moot Court Competition.

·       Must have a CGPA not less than 7.

·       Must have a good academic record.

·       Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·       Must have a sound command over MS-Office.

·       Must have good communication and organizational skills.

3.   Student Secretary

·       Shall be currently from the 2nd year.

·       Must have volunteered in any National/International event in 1st year under MCA or any other committee

·      Must have participated in VIII Novice Moot Court Competition ,2021 and XVI Internal Moot Court Competition, 2021 or have been allotted by the Allotment List, 2021-22 at least one National/International Moot Court Competition.

·       Must have a CGPA not less than 7.

·       Must have a good academic record.

·       Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary proceeding.

·       Must have sound command over MS-Office.

·       Must have good communication and organizational skills.

All interested students are requested to email their updated CV, to mca.upes@gmail.com, marking a copy to v.singh@ddn.upes.ac.in and gunjan.saxena@ddn.upes.ac.in subject of the email being “Application for portfolio at MCA, 2021-22”. Kindly mention the following in the body of the mail:

  1.   Name of the applicant.
  2.   The portfolio you are interested in.
  3. Whether you have served in any capacity in the MCA before.
  4. Why you feel you should be considered for the portfolio applied for.

 

Kindly respond to each of the aforesaid requirements in separate paragraphs.

Please apply latest by 11:00 p.m. on 31.01.2022 (Monday). We will inform the date and timings of the interview soon, which shall be conducted virtually.

Note : The particular committee formed after the interview round will be only for the purpose of NOVICE 2022 Event.
The members from 2nd year who are a part of Current committee of Moot Court Association, if wish to be a part of the novice 2022 team, are requested to submit their CV as well.

SPEAKERS & RESEARCHERS RANKS | XVIII INTERNAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023.

Dear Participants, Greetings from the Moot Court Association!! The wait is finally over, we are delighted to announce the ranks of  XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 . External Moot Court Competitions shall be allotted only through Internal Ranks/ Challenger Round abiding with the rules mentioned in Allotment and Mentorship Rules 2024. No allotments shall be made based on Average CGPA.  These ranks will be effective from XVIII Internal Moot Court Competition, 2023 till XIX Internal Moot Court Competitions, 2024.  NOTE: 1.      The detailed committee preference leaflet will be released soon. 2.      The Moot Court Association is releasing the ranks of Top 100 Speakers and Top 50 Researchers; hence the remaining applicants are requested to fill the form only with their names.
